OUR ROLE
Website design, development and animation

Marlo Medic connects healthcare institutions across Central and Eastern Europe with modern medical technology, along with distribution, service, financing and professional training. Today the company operates through six regional offices and works with a large number of international medical equipment manufacturers.

When we built the new website, the goal was not just to rearrange the existing information into a more modern interface. We wanted the way Marlo Medic presents itself online to reflect what the company stands for in its work: precision, technology, innovation and progress.

That is why we treated design and development as one whole from the start, with a special focus on animation and interaction.

01

Challenge

A website for a company in the medical technology industry can easily end up in a very predictable visual frame: lots of white space, photos of equipment, a few corporate sections and very little character.

For Marlo Medic, we wanted a different result.

We had to keep the seriousness and credibility this industry demands, while building a digital presence that clearly shows a company focused on modern technology and innovation.

So the main question was: how do you build a website that looks serious and professional, but never static?

Solution

We built the design around a clean visual system, large surfaces, strong typography and carefully selected content, while development added a layer of motion that ties the whole experience together.

Instead of treating animation as decoration added at the end of the project, we planned it alongside the design.

The way elements appear, transitions between sections, content changes, hover states and other details were designed to give users a sense of continuity as they move through the site.

The result is not a page where “everything flies around,” but a controlled motion system that supports the content and the brand identity.

02.1

Animation as part of the visual identity

A special part of the project was building custom animations that give the site a recognizable character.

From the hero section and the first contact with the brand, through various interactive elements, to transitions across the content, we use motion as one of the core elements of the experience.

The idea was for the animations to convey a sense of precision and modern technology, without hurting readability or ease of use.

That is why every interaction has a purpose: to direct attention, highlight important information or connect two parts of the page more naturally.

02.2

Development that follows the design

On a project like this, design cannot be finished in Figma and then simply “transferred” to code.

A large part of the site's final look takes shape in development, through fine-tuning timing, transitions, how elements behave on scroll and various interactions.

That is why design and development ran in parallel, so the animations would remain part of the original idea in the final product, instead of being simplified or lost during implementation.

We paid special attention to keeping everything fluid and responsive across different screen sizes.

02.3

A structure that presents the company clearly

The visual experience is an important part of the site, but it could not get in front of the content.

Marlo Medic presents its business through four main lines: distribution, service and maintenance, operating leasing and Academy, along with its regional presence, partner network and twelve clinical areas.

So we organized the content to let users quickly understand what the company does, and then explore individual areas without feeling like they are clicking through a classic corporate presentation.

The visual elements and animations follow that structure and give each part enough room to stand out.

02.4

A website that can grow with the company

The new site was not meant to be a one-time presentation.

Alongside the company's core pages, we built a space for news and updates, where Marlo Medic can share new partnerships, events, technology milestones and progress in robotic surgery and other fields.

This way the site stays an active digital channel that can follow the company's further growth, new markets and the technologies that enter its portfolio.

03

Result

Marlo Medic got a completely new digital presence in which design, development and motion work as one whole.

Instead of a classic corporate website for the medical industry, we created an experience that is clean and professional, yet dynamic and technologically modern.

The custom animations, transitions and interactions were not added just to make the site look more attractive. They became part of how the brand presents itself, and a way for the digital experience to follow the character of the technology at the center of Marlo Medic's business.

The result is a website that does not just talk about innovation, but also conveys it through the way it looks, moves and responds.
